Álvaro Cuadrado is a Spanish entrepreneur, philanthropist, and investor known for his social and environmental activism. He has founded impact-driven projects such as Hambre Cero (humanitarian aid) and Plántalo.org (reforestation), created more than 30 projects across approximately 20 countries, and received international recognition for his work. He is the president of the consulting firm Square Ventures, and his career spans from launching a film production company at the age of 19 to leading technology initiatives focused on access to clean drinking water and media platforms for women.

Why we like his story.
We love Álvaro’s story because, beyond the courage it reflects, he shared it with vulnerability and honesty. True heroism is forged in deeply difficult, challenging, and painful situations, moments most of us would rather avoid or never speak about. Álvaro has risked his life multiple times in service of others, helping thousands of people and standing on the front lines in conflict areas. He does so because he understands his purpose: to create real and lasting change and to save lives. Where many step back due to politics or convenience, Álvaro steps forward. For these reasons, we believe Álvaro is truly heroic. It’s an honor for us to share his story.
